A stunning lower jawbone from the legendary Ice Age Cave Bear, sourced from the fossil-rich caves of Romania. Complete with striking canine, well-preserved molars, and beautiful amber mineralisation. Comes with a custom display stand and information card — a dramatic and conversation-starting centrepiece for any serious collection.
A truly awe-inspiring fossil from one of the most iconic megafauna of the Ice Age — the Cave Bear. Sourced from the fossil-rich cave deposits of Romania, this exceptionally preserved lower jawbone showcases the species' characteristically robust build, with a striking canine tooth, a full row of well-defined molars, and the sweeping elongated ramus unique to Ursus spelaeus. Rich amber and tan mineralisation speaks to thousands of years of natural preservation deep within the earth. Ranging up to 1,000 kg in weight, the largest cave bears rivalled the Kodiak and Polar bears of today — making every genuine specimen a commanding piece of prehistoric history. Presented on a custom display stand and accompanied by a full information card. A centrepiece fossil for any serious Ice Age or megafauna collection.
